Right of free Resolution and Reimbursement

The consumer has the right to freely terminate this contract within 14 calendar days, without the need to indicate any reason, in addition to the right to exchange and return defective products.

The period for exercising the right of free resolution expires 14 days from the day following the day on which you acquire or another indicated by you, other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the goods or in the case relating to the delivery of a good consisting of several lots or parts: the 14-day period begins on the following day on which the purchaser or a another indicated by you, other than the transporter, acquires physical possession of the last lot or part.

In order to exercise your right to free withdrawal, you must communicate your decision to withdraw to us by means of an unequivocal statement (for example, a letter sent by post or email).

For the free resolution period to be respected, it is sufficient that your communication regarding the exercise of the right to free resolution is sent before the end of the resolution period.

 

Effects of free resolution

In the event of termination of this contract, you will be refunded all payments made, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a shipping method other than the least expensive standard shipping method offered by us ), without undue delay and, in any case, no later than 14 days from the date on which we are informed of your decision to terminate this contract. We make these refunds using the same payment method that you used in the initial transaction, unless you expressly agree otherwise; in any case, you will not incur any costs as a consequence of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods, or until you provide proof of dispatch of the goods, whichever comes first.

Depending on the specific case, we collect the goods or you must return the goods or deliver them to us or to CONTAGIO-BOA IDEIA LDA Rua da Paz 235, Quinta do Loureiro, Cacia 3800-587 Aveiro, without undue delay and no later than 14 days count from the day you inform us of the free termination of the contract. The deadline is considered to have been respected if you return the goods before the end of the 14-day period

However, we will not be responsible for the depreciation of goods resulting from manipulation that exceeds what is necessary to verify the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

 

Exchanges and Returns

CONTAGIO-BOA IDEIA LDA. recognizes to all its customers the right to terminate the contracts they enter into with it, allowing them to return, within a period of 14 (fourteen) days, the products purchased under the terms of Decree-Law n.º 143/2001 and Decree- Law 82/2008 of 05/20.

The obligation to exchange or return is excluded:

– Carried out after a period of 14 days counting from the day following the day on which you purchase or a third party indicated by you, other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the goods.

– Perishable products in which their quality has changed after their acquisition, such as when there is a change in the product, when there is incorrect storage, when there is incorrect transport or when the products are maintained at temperatures different from those suitable for them;

– Products whose defect was already known to the consumer before their acquisition;

– Products that the experts at CONTÁGIO – BOA IDEIA, LDA. understand that they are not defective;

– When there is manipulation of products that exceeds what is necessary to verify the nature, characteristics and functioning of the products;

– Customized products.

CONTÁGIO – BOA IDEIA LDA. sells perishable products and is responsible for the correct packaging and display of all its products, in its facilities, in order to guarantee the maintenance of their quality.
